I'm not going to give you any stories this morning. I'm not going to really break down a passage. I am just going to give you a statement from the Bible and encourage you to read it several times, pray about it, and apply it to your own life. “The one who lives with integrity will be helped, but one who distorts right and wrong will suddenly fall.” (Proverbs 28:18) I think this is a good reminder of how we should live our lives, and what we should expect when we follow various paths. Integrity – ‘firm adherence to a code of especially moral values’ Distort – ‘to twist out of the true meaning or proportion’ So, the one who lives his life with a firm adherence to a code of especially moral values will be helped when the time comes that he is in trouble. But the one who twists right and wrong out of their true meaning will suddenly fall. We are seeing this all around us today. You will find it to be true in your own life. Heavy words. Comforting if you are a person of integrity. Crushing if you are a distorter of right and wrong.
